CBSE released Study Materials for Open Book Exam under Open Text Based Assessment OTBA for Class IX and XI



In an extraordinary move to improve the quality of learning in
India from the existing culture where many students are forced to learn by mugging,
memorization and at times even cheating during examinations, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has decided to
introduce ‘Open Book Examination’ under its new Open Text Based Assessment
(OTBA) system for classes 9 and 11 starting from March
