Instructions and Procedure for Online Application for AIEEE 2010

3. Application can be submitted Online during 16.11.2009 to 31.12 .2009 (5.00 PM).

4. Payment of Fee could be made by Demand Draft or Credit Card.
Steps to be followed if fee paid through Demand Draft
a) If you want to remit the fee by Demand Draft, get ready before filling application form
b) Logon to the AIEEE website, fill the application form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system that is required for making the payment of fee.
c) Fill the details of Demand Draft.
d) Take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete as per the instruction given below.

Steps to be followed if fee paid through Credit Card

a) Keep the details of Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard) ready.
b) Logon to the AIEEE website, fill the application form, note down the registration number which would be generated by system that is required for making the payment of fee.
c) Make the payment through Credit Card and note down the payment receipt number, after successful payment of fee.
d) Take a printout of Confirmation Page and complete as per the instruction given below.
e) Note : Bank will charge 2.25% service/processing charges on transaction made by Credit card.

5. Paste your two recent photographs (as given in point 6 below), sign in the specified box and send this confirmation page along with Demand Draft (In case of Examination Fee deposited through Demand Draft) by Registered/Speed Post (NOT BY COURIER) to ” The Assistant Secretary (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension,Patparganj, Delhi 110 092″ for further processing so as to reach latest by 05.01.2010 . Application received beyond this date will not be accepted.

6. Photograph : Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.9.2009) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Application Form one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. The photograph must indicate clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. The photograph of the candidate should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer in such a way that part of the signature is on the photograph and remaining part of the signature is on the application form. Attestation should be done on the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. Candidates not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination/Counselling/Admission.

7. Candidates submitting applications online are required

a. to attach Demand Draft of required fee (In favour of “Secretary Central Board of Secondary Education,Delhi”, payable at Delhi).
b. to mention his/her Registration No., Name, and Address on the back of the Demand Draft .
c. to retain a photocopy of confirmation page for future reference.
d. to retain a photocopy of the Demand Draft sent.
e. to retain a photocopy of the transaction receipt if fee paid by Credit Card.
f. to retain the original receipt issued by the post office for having dispatch the Application Form.
g. the processing of applications will begin only after receiving confirmation page and fee (by Credit Card or by Demand Draft).

8. Date of Birth : Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1985 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handica pped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1980 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

9. Procedure for Refund of fee if paid through Credit Card
If candidate has made the payment of fee through credit card & due to some unavoidable circumtances if candidate is unable to print the confirmation page and payment is again made by the candidate then following procedure may be followed to refund

a. Writedown an application by giving the details of your registration number, all transactions details date wise, address etc to “The Assistant Secretary (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi 110 092″ for refund
b. Payment would be refunded to the candidate by CBSE after the last date of submission of application form.
Note : Bank will charge 2.25% service/processing charges on transaction made by Credit card.
