Choose a different field - Career in Animation

If students think to pursue their career in a different field other than engineering/medical/management then they have a good option : career in animation.

Animation is an art form in which inanimate objects are brought to life by sequencing the drawn images. Walt Disney is famous for his creative cartoons specially the Mickey mouse. From the career point of view, animation industry has a lot of opportunities.

The Indian animation market was static until a few years ago, but is now waking up to a host of global opportunities.

Animation is growing to a multi billion dollar industry, generating a huge platform of employment. The film and television programme producers from other countries also are outsourcing animation production activities from India due to lower cost of animation production and technical manpowers available in India to meet 2-D and 3-D animation requirements.

Animation demands hard work, creativity, flair of sketching/drawing, passion, good visualization skills, consistency in works and dedication for a successful and rewarding career.

There are various professional courses in this field like, Advanced diploma in Digital visual communication and animation, Diploma in Rotoscoping, 3-D/2-D animation, film animation, Human anatomy, Drawing, Web authoring etc.
